Report A Power Outage

If your power is out or a wire is down, please let us know.

Report a Gas Leak, Outage, Downed Wire, Hanging Wire or Tree Limbs on a Wire

To report a gas leak, downed wires, or other hazardous condition, LEAVE the area and get to a safe location. Then call PSE&G at 1-800-436-PSEG (7734) or call our Emergency Line at 1-800-880-PSEG (7734).

If you suspect a gas leak:

  • Open windows and outside doors for ventilation
  • Do not use electrical devices
  • Do not use or ignite an open flame
  • Do not try to locate the source of the leak

 

Report a Power Outage

Report an outage or downed trees, get an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR), view outage maps, and more by logging in to My Account on your computer or mobile device.

To report an outage by phone call 1-800-436-PSEG (7734) or text "OUT" to 4PSEG (47734) - Register your phone first by texting "REG" to 4PSEG.  You can also report an outage through our app.

Do you have power, but want to report tree limbs on a wire?

  • To report tree limbs on a wire at your service address, please log in to My Account and follow the prompts, or view step-by-step instructions.
  • If you don’t have an account with PSE&G, or you are reporting a tree limb on a wire at a location other than your service address, please call 1-800-436-7734 to speak to a customer service representative.

A PSE&G Vegetation Management professional will investigate your request and follow up with you within 5-7 business days.

Report a Streetlight Outage

  • Report a streetlight outage online through My Account, our Streetlight Map, or by calling 1-800-436-7734.
  • You’ll be asked to provide the nearest cross street, pole number, and/or nearest address.
  • Repair times vary based on the complexity of the repair, but most are completed within three business days.
