If you need help paying a large or past due balance, a Deferred Payment Arrangement (DPA) may be an option. After making a down payment towards your current owed amount, you can set up a DPA to make regular monthly installment payments towards your remaining balance to bring your account up to date.

DPAs consist of a monthly payment, in addition to your regular monthly bill.

Can my past WorryFree charges be rolled up into my DPA?

No, if you would like to keep your WorryFree contracts in place, the balance must be paid before starting a DPA.
If my electric and/or gas service has been shut off because of a past due balance, can I get it restored if I agree to a DPA?

Yes, a payment and/or a DPA on your outstanding balance will allow you to have your service restored.
What if I was on the Equal Payment Plan and I fell behind on my payments?

You will be removed from the Equal Payment Plan before starting a DPA.
What if I am paying PSE&G for a water heater or HVAC installation and I fell behind on my payments?

If you have fallen behind on your payments, please speak to a Customer Service Representative. We will create a second account for the water heater or HVAC installation with a separate DPA, so you will receive two bills each month. This will ensure your monthly payments are applied to the correct DPA.
